What’s new? Well, we had to improve the packaging of our product. I have long suspected and now experience for myself that much of marketing and advertising is about appearance. One shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but if the cover looks gorgeous with flashing lights, lasers, and fireworks, it will likely be purchased more. A sad truth. Therefore, an intense manufacturer search commenced. Many options, who do I trust?

First, we needed to design the images for the boxes. I have been extremely reluctant over the years to purchase an Adobe subscription. Why? Instinctually, something feels weird about paying large sums of money for things other people own and can deny my access to. Call me paranoid, but I suspect anything created in that software will legally belong to Adobe. Why else would they need such a complex terms of service. I could be wrong, I doubt I am. Therefore, I’ve been using the free Photoscape X app. Surprisingly, useful for a free version. Hiccups come in the form of vector graphics. More on that later.

Boxes designed, manufacturer was located. Pricing was fairly uniform across all companies. First candidate, only provided wire transfer as a payment option. Felt sketchy in 2026. When with option two (www.customboxes.com). Issues arose in the PDF of the images. Their team had issues with the PDFs converted from photoscape JPEGs. So I had to find an online converter and problem was resolved. Boxes look great. This entrepreneur path is wild. You must build it brick by brick and time is a fundamental ingredient. The journey continues.
